Criminal case against father accused in raping underage daughter closed in Armenia

GORIS. – The criminal case launched in Armenian City of Goris against father accused in raping his 14-year-old daughter was terminated, the press service of the Armenian police informsArmenian News-NEWS.am adding that the case was closed as the identity of the perpetrator was not revealed.

According to our information, a DNA expertise showed that the father did not rape his daughter.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, on Thursday a woman reported to the Goris Police department that her husband raped their 14-year-old daughter as a result of which the girl got pregnant. The pregnancy was interrupted.

A criminal case had been launched.
